Extra-tall seating is a specialised choice. A stool that is too low can feel awkward; one that is too high can make getting on and off the seat uncomfortable. The current edit contains a very limited selection, so the individual product specification should lead the decision.

Measure twice before you order

Take the floor-to-underside measurement of the high bar or counter, check the product’s stated seat height, and leave practical leg clearance. Also consider ceiling lights, nearby shelving and the space behind the stool—high seating creates more visual and physical presence than a standard chair.
