Swivel Bar Stools
A swivel seat lets you change direction while the base stays in place. That can suit a kitchen island facing a living area or a home bar used for conversation. Compare the actual rotation mechanism alongside the seat height and the room around the stool.

About Swivel Bar Stools
Swivel and adjustment are separate features
The Colby light-grey set of four combines a rotating seat with a fixed 65cm seat height. The black Cherry stool lists a gas-lift seat range of 64–85cm as well as rotation. Use the product’s own specifications to distinguish the two, or compare adjustable-height stools with fixed-height designs.
Leave room for the backrest to turn
An unoccupied stool may fit neatly beside its neighbour but need more room once the seat rotates. Consider where the backrest, arms and knees will move, including nearby cabinetry and the bench edge. Check the listed rotation range; not every mechanism makes a full turn.

Choose the seat material independently
Rotation says nothing about upholstery or care. Compare seat depth, padding and the frame, then read the material description. Our leather-look seating collection is a route to upholstered designs; confirm whether the selected item uses PU or another stated material.
Questions about swivel bar stools
Does a swivel stool always turn 360 degrees?
No. Read the rotation specification for the model. Some mechanisms have a limited range or a return action, so do not infer a full turn from the word swivel alone.
Do I need extra floor space for a swivel stool?
Assess the movement of the occupied seat as well as the base footprint. A backrest or arms may sweep beyond the stool’s resting position.
